Knislinge Health Center is located in Östra Göinge Municipality with good commuting options. It is a well-functioning and stable unit with just under 9,000 registered patients and approximately 48 employees. We work patient-centered and are committed to providing good and close care with consideration, with a focus on high accessibility, quality, and continuity. At the health center, six general medicine specialists and five ST doctors work together with nurses, paramedics, assistant nurses, and secretaries in close and well-functioning collaboration. We also have a varying number of AT and BT doctors who are part of our well-organized doctor's clinic. Additionally, we have a mobile care team staffed by doctors every day and we are responsible for two of the municipality's special residential facilities. The health center has extensive experience as a training health center. Over the years, we have been nominated several times and won prizes as one of the region's best units. Competence development is important to us and collegial dialogue has high priority with regular doctor meetings and scheduled development time. The unit's doctors have a number of side assignments such as school doctor, assignments at youth clinics, STRAMA representative, and several have AKO assignments. 1 position(s). DUTIES As an ST doctor, you follow your ST plan and we offer a supportive training climate with continuous supervision on your path towards specialist doctor competence. During the first year you work at the health center and the following four years primary care work alternates with rotations at specialist clinics. In addition to mandatory ST courses, you are offered good development opportunities with continuous training internally as well as externally, based on interest and the organization's needs. We also expect you to be involved in improvement work and operational development. You receive your own limited patient list, which expands during your ST service. QUALIFICATIONS You must be a licensed doctor with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. To be eligible for an ST position in general medicine, completed basic service (BT) is required, or previously completed general service (AT) according to older regulations. Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is a requirement. Experience from primary care is meritorious.
