The Internal Medicine Clinic at Mälarsjukhuset is the region's largest internal medicine clinic with acute care at the emergency department, intensive medical unit, and acute assessment unit, as well as broad operations in cardiology, geriatrics, endocrinology, nephrology, hematology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, palliative care, neurology, and stroke. Approximately 100 physicians work here in an open and collegial environment where knowledge sharing, mentoring, and professional development are a natural part of daily work. Your Responsibilities As a resident physician with us, you will: • Work in both outpatient clinic, inpatient care, and acute care, giving you very broad internal medicine expertise. • Serve in the emergency department and as the internal medicine clinic's on-call physician as acute care operations expand. • Receive clear, structured residency training with close mentoring and good opportunities for double specialization. • Have the opportunity to participate in research, development, and improvement projects based on your interests. Your Qualifications • Licensed physician with interest in internal medicine. • Excellent proficiency in Swedish, equivalent to C1 level, in both spoken and written language. As a person, you are engaged, curious, and comfortable working in teams, and thrive in an environment where you learn and develop together. We place great importance on personal qualities.
