As a resident physician at Nyland, you will be part of a physician team with general practitioners, resident physicians, and junior doctors from primary care in Sollefteå and Kramfors. The physician team meets one morning each month for collaboration and experience exchange. We offer a stimulating and educational environment where you gain broad expertise, supervision, and the opportunity to work independently with patients of all ages. We are now seeking a resident physician for our team! The position is a full-time temporary assignment with a start date by agreement. Job Responsibilities During your first year as a resident, you will have a patient list of 450 patients to manage. Over the years, the list will increase to a level similar to that of a general specialist with approximately 1100 listed patients. The position includes supervising junior doctors and other less experienced colleagues. The role involves evening and weekend work. You will work with: Clinic work, home visits, telephone contacts, and to some extent digital healthcare contacts. Examine, investigate, assess, and treat patients. Work in a team with other professionals, as well as work independently with your own clinic. Physician support in special housing, home healthcare, and child health center work during certain periods. Regular side duties. Some primary care on-call duty, as well as standby duty. Qualifications We seek you who: Have Swedish medical license and are eligible to begin resident physician training in general medicine Have worked in recent years in the Swedish healthcare system Have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing Have a Class B driver's license To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Self-driven Flexible Team player Organized We would like to see that you, as an applicant, have a genuine interest in the breadth and variety of general medicine and wish, together with us, to work for good quality healthcare.
