We believe the best results are created when people develop together. About Us Rehabilitation Medicine is part of Neuro Care at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. We conduct highly specialized rehabilitation in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our services include rehabilitation following brain and spinal cord injuries, nationally highly specialized care for early rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries and late effects of polio, as well as a spasticity clinic with tone management and intrathecal treatment. Work is conducted in close collaboration between multiple professions with the patient's goals and participation at the center. The service is quality accredited by CARF. Specialist Training With Us Rehabilitation Medicine is one of the National Board of Health and Welfare's base specialties. With us, you will receive structured specialist training with regular supervision, an individualized training plan, and continuous follow-up with your supervisor and training director. You will gradually take on increased responsibility and develop both medical competence and the ability to lead rehabilitation processes. If you are interested in research, there are excellent opportunities to combine clinical work with research and academic development in collaboration with the University of Gothenburg.
