ST Doctor in General Medicine Sought

Sundbyberg Health Center is seeking an ST Doctor. The position begins with a three-month probationary period. During the probationary period, at least four documented sit-in assessments will be conducted together with a supervisor, according to the structured assessment tool mini-CEX (Mini Clinical Evaluation Exercise). The assessments are used to monitor the doctor's clinical development, including history-taking, examination, clinical reasoning, management, communication, and professional conduct. After the probationary period is completed, the supervisor will prepare a written supervisory statement. This, together with an overall assessment of the clinical work and collaboration during the period, forms the basis for deciding on continued employment and possible transition to an ST position in general medicine. The position can start from October 2026. Job Responsibilities As a doctor with us, you will, among other things: Work with routine outpatient care in primary healthcare. Assess, investigate, and treat patients with both acute and chronic illnesses. Work with preventive health and medical care. Collaborate with nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, and other professional groups. Participate in the department's medical development and quality improvement work. Receive regular supervision from an experienced specialist doctor. Upon transition to an ST position, training will be planned according to the current objectives for specialist service in general medicine. We Are Looking For Someone Who Holds Swedish medical licensure. Has a genuine interest in general medicine and primary care. Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Has a professional and respectful approach toward patients and colleagues. Is responsible, organized, and has strong collaborative skills. Wants to develop long-term in general medicine. Previous experience from Swedish primary care is a merit but not an absolute requirement.
