Individual and Family Care in Uppvidinge Municipality is part of the Welfare and Care Administration. We work closely together and close to those we serve. Our mission is to provide protection, support, and help for change – with the individual and family at the center. The Children and Family Unit consists of intake, investigating social workers, child social workers, family therapists, and foster care coordinators. Our senior social workers work close to the operations and provide case-related support in daily work. We are in an exciting transition with the new social services law. This means an increased focus on preventive work, early interventions, and collaboration. DUTIES You will work together with a colleague who will have the same assignment. SSPF stands for School, Social Services, Police, and Recreation. As an SSPF/School Coordinator, you will work to coordinate the municipality's and other actors' interventions for children and youth who risk criminality or other norm-breaking development. In this role, you will also serve as the representative of the Individual and Family Care Unit in the school social team with a focus on interventions to promote school attendance. The position includes, among other things: · Coordinate collaboration between school, social services, police, and recreational activities. · Identify youth at risk. · Ensure that information and concerns about youth are captured early. · Plan and follow up on joint interventions. · Be a contact person between the different activities. · Work preventively against, for example, criminality, drugs, truancy, and destructive environments. · Participate in SSPF meetings and ensure that decisions and interventions are followed up. · Participate in school social team meetings. · Work with guardians and youth when needed. · Establish functioning collaboration routines between the activities. · Field work when needed. Certain authority-related duties are part of the position. This may include pre-assessments and statements regarding the described target group. A requirement is that you have a degree in social work or an education that the employer considers equivalent. We would like to see that you have professional experience in social work, preferably in change work as a therapist. Experience with authority-related duties is a merit. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A Class B driver's license is required. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement. Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis. Working hours: Daytime. The basic schedule is office hours, but working hours can also be arranged in the evenings and weekends if needed.
