About the Position As section manager for Hot Rolling Mill maintenance, you will lead a team of 26 people with expertise in mechanics, hydraulics, coordination, planning, and tribology. You will have maintenance responsibility for the mechanical maintenance of the Hot Rolling Mill in a 24/7 production operation. You are expected to be part of developing preventive maintenance practices at the Hot Rolling Mill. Collaboration with operations and other departments in Borlänge is essential for success in this role. You will be part of the Hot Rolling Mill maintenance management team with great opportunity for influence and development. Your Main Areas of Responsibility Systematic workplace safety management Goal-based management and follow-up Drive improvement work and development within your area About You We are looking for someone who is technically interested and has experience in maintenance, industry, or process industry. We would like to see that you have previous professional experience as a manager/leader. If you have education or experience in leading change, this is a merit. As a person, we see that you are confident and present in your leadership and have an aptitude for creating and maintaining structure in your work. You are driven, take initiative, and enjoy social settings. Collaboration is one of your strengths – both internally within the organization and externally with other stakeholders. You have good communication skills and express yourself in a clear and direct manner. You are flexible and adapt easily to changed circumstances. You are comfortable giving feedback and creating engagement in the work group.
