About the Position The section's mission is to package our finished products at the Cold Rolling Mill. The section is an important part of SSAB's strategy to increase the growth of premium products for our customers and faces several exciting challenges in the coming years in the form of increased flow and a transition to a new Nordic production system. This development is happening in parallel with our development of employees and organization toward safe and developmental work. In this role, you will lead a team of 32 employees consisting of 30 operators working 5-shift, one day-shift operator, and one operations assistant. Beyond your own management team, you will work closely with operators, maintenance, quality technicians, and others. Your Main Areas of Responsibility Responsibility for creating results and developing the business in line with SSAB's strategy and values, and for becoming the world's safest steel company—safety is an important part of our daily work. Operations and work environment responsibility. Production management. Development and establishment of working methods. Lead through change and deliver on set goals. About You You have High school diploma or equivalent qualifications. Previous management experience or experience working in a leadership role. Class B driver's license. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English. Meriting Factors Post-secondary education in technology or industry. Education in leadership and/or work environment. Education/experience in change management and/or business development. Experience from process or manufacturing industry. Experience with operations and work environment responsibility. Personal Qualities Engaged and contributes to motivation, development, and involvement. We value good communication skills and a coaching approach as well as confidence in leadership. Possesses strong collaboration skills. Meticulousness, especially when it comes to safety and work environment work.
