SSAB - Machine Operator Shift

As a machine operator, you will have a free and varied work where a high level of service is expected from your customers. In the department, we have several different machines to carry out our transport-related assignments. Since we believe in collaboration within the section and that we are strong together, we see it as obvious that you want to develop yourself and learn to operate several different machines in the department so that together we can be strong and confident in our common delivery commitments. All employees have the opportunity to influence the department's development and we want you to work with us for a safer and more efficient operation. This means we want to develop our processes, our work methods and our ability to maintain our machines and equipment so we can increase availability and reduce maintenance costs. This is an important and production-critical role where we see a great need to be able to carry out safe and efficient transports with quality to our customers; we are now looking for four people for the team. Working time is 5-shift. Your main areas of responsibility • Perform internal transports within SSAB's facility in Luleå. • Operate and manage various transport and work machines according to applicable safety and work procedures. • Ensure good service and delivery to internal customers. • Work actively with safety, order and organization in daily work. • Contribute to improvement of work methods, processes and efficiency within the transport department. • Perform daily inspections of machines and report deviations. • Collaborate with colleagues and be flexible in shift work. About you • You are driven with experience in heavy transport. • B-Driver's License • Wheel loader/Forklift certification and C-license are desirable. • You have computer skills such as Office, Powerpoint, Word and Excel. • If you have experience in development and safety work, this is a merit.
