SSAB - Machine Operator Day Shift

As a machine operator, you'll have a dynamic and varied role where high service levels are expected from your customers. In our department, we operate several different machines to carry out our transport-related assignments. We believe in collaboration within the section and that we are stronger together, so we see it as natural that you want to develop and learn to operate multiple different machines in the department so that we together can be strong and confident in our shared delivery commitments. All employees have the opportunity to influence the department's development, and we want you to work with us toward safer and more efficient operations. This means we want to develop our workflows, our work methods, and our ability to maintain our machines and equipment so we can increase availability and reduce maintenance costs. We see increased transportation needs within our facility in Luleå, and we want to develop the department to be able to transport increased volumes in a safer and more efficient way. Therefore, we are now seeking four machine operators for our operations. Working hours are scheduled during daytime. Your main areas of responsibility • Perform internal transport within the facility in a safe, efficient, and quality manner • Contribute to collaboration within the department • Participate in developing work methods and transport flows for increased efficiency and safety • Actively participate in daily management, as well as work environment and safety initiatives. About you • You have curiosity and drive to learn new things • You value your own and others' safety • You are a team player who enjoys working in teams • You have good self-awareness, spread positive energy, and lead by example • You contribute to improvements and achieve results • Merits include if you have: • Experience with heavy transport. Wheel loader/Forklift certificate and C license are desirable. • Computer skills such as Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. • Experience in development and safety work.
