Would you like to lead and develop an important maintenance organization in a production-critical operation? We are now seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Steel Mill with responsibility for an engaged team consisting of approximately 20 mechanics and technicians. Work location: Luleå. About the Position As Maintenance Manager at the Steel Mill, you are responsible for leading, planning and developing mechanical maintenance within the Steel Mill. You have personnel, work environment, operational and budget responsibility for the group and work actively to ensure high availability, safety and operational reliability in the operation. You are an important part of the Steel Mill's maintenance management group where you contribute to strategic decisions, development work and long-term planning. Your main areas of responsibility Lead, coach and develop employees within mechanical maintenance. Ensure a safe work environment and a strong safety focus. Drive improvement work for increased availability, efficiency and operational reliability. Responsible for maintenance strategies, resource planning and budget. Work closely with production, engineering and other support functions. Contribute actively to the maintenance management group and support operational development. About You We are looking for you as a clear, goal-oriented and engaging leader with the ability to create structure, build trust and deliver results. We would like to see that you have: Experience in leading positions within industry, production or maintenance. Technical education or equivalent experience within mechanics or maintenance. Good understanding of industrial maintenance and operational reliability work. Ability to work both strategically and operatively. Experience in change and improvement work.
