Working hours: 40 hours per week Term of employment: indefinite Expected start of service: October 2026 Service field: 2. Taxes, fees and similar monetary payments and gambling Duties performed: - comprehensive performance of tax administration agenda in complex tax administration cases - specialized professional knowledge and application of the Value Added Tax Act, Tax Code, and other generally binding legal regulations - conducting field investigations, procedures to eliminate doubts, and value added tax audits - ensuring international cooperation in value added tax administration - preparing reports on tax audits and ensuring their discussion with the tax subject, if applicable other persons involved in proceedings Salary and other conditions: - salary within the range of 27,030 Kč to 38,990 Kč - personal supplement after training within the range of 3,899 Kč to 5,849 Kč - special supplement of 4,300 Kč - possibility of performance and target bonuses - employee will have a gross monthly income of at least 35,840 Kč upon commencement (guaranteed salary level or higher) - possibility to use accrued hours as full-day leave up to 2 days per calendar month Additional information on benefits and conditions of service are available here: Job Offer | Public Information | Financial Administration | Financial Administration (financnisprava.gov.cz) You may participate in the selection process for the above civil service position if you meet the basic requirements established under § 25 subsection 1 of the Act, namely: a) you are a citizen of the Czech Republic, a citizen of another member state of the European Union, or a citizen of a state that is a contracting party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, b) you have reached the age of 18, c) you have full legal capacity, d) you are of good repute, e) you have achieved the education specified by law for this civil service position, i.e., higher professional education or higher education in a bachelor's degree program, or you have achieved at least secondary education with a school-leaving examination; an exception from the education requirement set by law has been granted for this civil service position in accordance with § 25a subsection 1 of the Act by service regulations; f) you have the required health fitness, g) you have the required knowledge of the Czech language, unless you are a citizen of the Czech Republic.
