The Employment Market Unit is organized under the Business Area Work and Welfare, which also includes the Knowledge Hub unit. We work with labor market initiatives such as internships and various forms of employment support. We also work in parallel to provide developmental and competence-building activities for participants. 2 position(s). WORK TASKS Do you want to help strengthen people's opportunities to establish themselves in the job market? The Employment Market Unit is now seeking two instructors in the Swedish language who want to contribute to participants' language development and path toward employment or studies. In your role as an instructor, you will work to develop participants' knowledge of the Swedish language with the goal of increasing their opportunities for self-sufficiency. You meet participants both individually and in groups and adapt teaching, language support, and training based on their different needs, conditions, and goals, which aligns with our tool BIP/Skapa. Work takes place in varying environments. You conduct language support activities at the Employment Market Unit, but also work at workplaces where participants are doing internships or other labor market initiatives. An important part of the assignment is to make language development relevant and practical by connecting it to participants' everyday lives and working lives. You work closely with the Employment Market Unit's instructors and case officers to create a shared understanding of participants' development, progress, and support needs. Collaboration is a central part of the work and helps ensure that participants have the right conditions to take steps toward employment or studies. As an instructor, you also use the digital language tool Lingio as a complement to the educational activities. You support participants in using the tool and follow their language development over time. Documentation takes place in the activity system Accorda, which requires structure, thoroughness, and good planning. In this role, you maintain close dialogue with participants, colleagues, workplaces, and other collaborating partners. Through your commitment, you contribute to developing the activities and creating new opportunities for the people that the Employment Market Unit exists to serve. The position involves pedagogical work, instruction, and language support, but does not include grading or exercise of authority. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with post-secondary pedagogical education, such as a teacher, educator, study and vocational guidance counselor, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience teaching or instructing in the Swedish language, preferably from SFI, adult education, labor market initiatives, or other activities where language support to adults has been an important part of the assignment. It is a merit if you have experience with: • Teaching in SFI or Swedish as a second language • Working with adult participants from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds • Digital learning tools and language support • Collaboration between education, labor market, and social support As a person, you are pedagogical, communicative, and relationship-building. You have the ability to motivate and engage people with different backgrounds and conditions. You work solution-focused and adapt your approach based on the individual's needs and situation. The role requires that you are structured and take responsibility while being flexible and comfortable in an activity where conditions can change. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues and partners. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Before employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record register. Probationary employment may be relevant. A class B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment.
