BASKETBALL Coach
Rēzekne Children's and Youth Sports School is hiring a basketball coach for an indefinite period, full-time, 30 hours per week with a monthly salary of 1270 EUR (with the possibility to increase hours).
Main responsibilities of the basketball coach:
Implement professional training education programs in accordance with the sports school curriculum and teaching-training methodology;
Plan and ensure the teaching and training process;
Plan, organize, and document classes and competitions according to the approved class schedule and competition calendar;
Ensure workload appropriate to students' age and physical development;
Ensure student safety and compliance with the educational institution's internal regulations;
Prepare and submit necessary documentation to the school administration;
Perform other duties as directed by the sports school management.
Job requirements and necessary knowledge:
At least Category C sports coach certification in the respective sport; higher sports pedagogical education is preferred (in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569);
Ability to organize, work in a team, good interpersonal and communication skills;
State language proficiency at the level specified in regulatory acts;
High sense of responsibility, psychological resilience, and professional communication skills.
