FREIGHT FORWARDER AT TEMPCON TOMMY NORDBERGH ÅKERI AB Tempcon Tommy Nordbergh Åkeri AB is in an expansion phase and is now seeking an experienced and business-driven Freight Forwarder to our office in Hjärnarp. Here you will have an important role in a dynamic operation where you combine transport planning and logistics with customer relationships, business development, and purchasing and selling of transports. DUTIES As a Freight Forwarder, you will work with your colleagues to plan, coordinate, and develop efficient logistics solutions. The transports consist largely of domestic temperature-controlled long-haul transports, and you are responsible for the entire process from order to completed delivery and follow-up. An important part of the role is the commercial side. You actively work to develop existing customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and sell transport and logistics solutions to new customers. Your duties include, among other things: · Plan, coordinate, and follow up on transports and logistics solutions · Handle the entire transport chain from order to delivery · Purchase and sell transports · Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and transporters · Identify new customers and business opportunities · Present and sell transport solutions · Optimize routes and transport arrangements for cost-effective solutions · Work with follow-up and completion of completed assignments · Ensure correct documentation and compliance with laws and regulations · If needed, support the operation with traffic management The position also includes some scheduled on-call duty or shift work. QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES We are looking for someone with experience from the transport and logistics industry who thrives in a role where operational logistics is combined with business and customer contact. You have a good understanding of the customer's business and the driver's work situation and have the ability to see the bigger picture in the transport flow. You are independent, responsible, and used to making decisions in a day-to-day situation where conditions can change quickly. To succeed in the role, you also need to have a commercial flair. You enjoy creating new contacts, developing relationships, and finding solutions that work well for both the customer and the business. You have a strong sense for buying and selling and are motivated by developing new business. As a person, you are communicative, solution-oriented, and thorough. You are easy to collaborate with, while independently driving your work tasks and working toward set goals. We see that you have: · Experience in freight forwarding, transport planning, or similar work · Good knowledge of the transport and logistics industry · An established network within transport and logistics · Experience with customer contact and purchasing and selling of transports · Good administrative and digital skills · Experience with freight documentation · Good Swedish and English in speech and writing · Class B driver's license It is an advantage if you also have: · Experience with international transports · Experience with temperature-controlled transports · Experience with T5 ABOUT THE POSITION The position is a permanent employment.
