JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Special education teacher or specialist for grades 4–9 with certification in at least one core subject Do you want to use your expertise as a special education teacher or specialist to contribute to school development and strengthen students' ability to reach their goals? Then this position might be for you. Basic School Support is a centrally organized unit within Enköping Municipality that provides qualified support to the municipality's primary schools. Through close collaboration with schools, we help strengthen student learning, attendance, and goal achievement. You will work at school units on longer-term assignments and processes based on analysis and the needs of the operations. The role involves bringing specialized pedagogical expertise, supporting school leadership and educators, and contributing to the development of working methods, structures, and procedures that strengthen students' path to their goals. We're looking for someone who enjoys collaboration, builds trusting relationships, and thrives on driving development work together with others. You work independently, have a relational approach, and strong belief in every student's ability to develop. The role requires personal maturity, flexibility, and confidence in specialized educational work. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts constructively. You have the courage to act on your own convictions. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and the different conditions people face. You adapt your way of communicating to the recipient. You have an organized working approach where you plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently. You set and keep to deadlines. Employment Type: Permanent position.
