The Children and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school childcare, primary school and adapted primary school. Work duties As a special education teacher at Vistaskolan, you have a central role in strengthening students' learning and development, at the individual, group and organizational level. You work systematically based on students' needs, current research and proven experience. You are part of the school's student welfare team and work closely with school management, special teachers, teachers and other professionals. Together you drive preventive and promotional student welfare work. The position includes: Working as a special education teacher focused on grades F–2 and the school's special education groups (SU 1 2) Plan and conduct special education, both individually and in small groups Conduct pedagogical assessments and investigations and establish and follow up intervention programs Contribute to work with extra adaptations and special support Guide and support colleagues on pedagogical issues and lead development in work teams Collaborate with guardians and external actors as needed Document and follow up measures and contribute to the school's systematic quality work As a special education teacher at Vistaskolan, you are part of the student welfare team and work both preventively and close to students to support their knowledge development. The role combines teaching, guidance of colleagues and coordination of support measures, while you contribute to the school's development work. You have an inclusive and solution-focused approach, lead processes and support both students and work teams. Knowledge of Swedish as a second language is meritorious. Your profile We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and trained special education teacher, with teaching experience – preferably at primary level. You have good knowledge and are confident in implementing curriculum documents in practice. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and see documentation as an integral part of your work. To succeed in the role, we see that you: Have experience in special education and working with pedagogical investigations, extra adaptations and intervention programs Have good digital skills, preferably with experience of systems such as V-class and Prorenata Have an interest in and preferably experience working with students with other mother tongues Have good analytical skills and can analyze results at both individual and group level We are looking for a confident and clear pedagogical leader who creates an inclusive learning environment with focus on safety, order and high expectations. You are collaborative, solution-focused and communicative, with the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Experience in preventive work in language, reading and writing development, guidance of educators and work with research-based methods and systematic monitoring of student learning is meritorious.
