We are now looking for a committed special education teacher who wants to contribute to developing strong student well-being and an accessible learning environment where each student is given the best possible conditions to succeed. Responsibilities As a special education teacher, you work closely with school leadership, teachers, and other professionals within student well-being. You have a central role in preventive and developmental work and contribute specialized pedagogical expertise at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Your duties include: - Mentor and support educators in creating accessible learning environments. - Conduct pedagogical assessments, investigations, and analyses of student needs. - Develop, monitor, and evaluate intervention plans. - Contribute to the development of the school's pedagogical work and student well-being initiatives. - Collaborate with guardians and external partners as needed. - Be an active and driving member of the school's student well-being team. - Participate in the school's systematic quality work. Qualifications Requirements - Special education teacher certification. - Teacher license with authorization to work in primary and lower secondary school. - Strong ability to collaborate and build trusting relationships. - Good knowledge of inclusive approaches and accessible learning environments. - Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with a developmental focus. Merits - Experience working as a special education teacher in primary and lower secondary school. - Experience with student well-being work and cross-professional collaboration. - Experience mentoring pedagogical staff. - Knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders and learning environment adaptations. - Experience with organizational development initiatives.
