Your New Role As a special education teacher, you play a vital role in promoting children's learning, development, and well-being at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Together with preschool management, you contribute to the development of child health work and champion issues related to accessible learning environments, core values, and attendance. Based on your expertise, you provide support, advice, and mentoring to management, educators, and guardians on special education matters. Through observations, mentoring, and analysis, you help develop the preschools' learning environments and approaches. You are also responsible for action plans, coordination, and follow-up of support measures, as well as documentation in Prorenata. The role includes collaboration with other stakeholders such as the child health team, work teams, guardians, and external partners such as BHV, rehabilitation services, and receiving schools. You also coordinate and lead professional development for the preschools based on David Edfäldt's Bredda basen methodology. The work is flexible and independent, requiring you to plan and structure your work with a focus on preventive and promotive measures. Much of your time is spent close to the activities and work teams to strengthen conditions for all children's development and learning. The preschools are located in one of the municipality's priority areas, where many children are multilingual. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher degree and a special education certificate, with experience working in preschool settings. You have good knowledge of children's learning and development, as well as broad special education expertise regarding factors that can create barriers or opportunities for children's participation and learning. You work from an inclusive approach and have the ability to support and mentor educators, guardians, and colleagues. Important Information Full-time position (100%).
