Job Responsibilities As a Special Educator at Nicolaiskolan, you will be part of a skilled student welfare team working together to develop the school's student welfare efforts. Your tasks are varied and change based on operational needs, where you primarily work with issues concerning students requiring special support. You will support your colleagues in identifying opportunities in learning and teaching environments. This includes coaching teachers individually and/or in groups. Your role is to work preventatively and promote health to create an accessible learning environment. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a Special Education degree and secondary teacher certification, which is a requirement. You need very good knowledge and strong ability to use Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience with grading and good knowledge of the governing documents applicable to secondary school. You enjoy collaborating with people, especially young people! You demonstrate interest and understanding toward others and the diversity that exists in both student and adult groups. You contribute to a positive school climate and you enjoy building good relationships with everyone around you.
