Working as a Special Education Teacher at Franserudsskolan in Bengtsfors Municipality means having a clear mandate to make teaching more accessible and effective for all students. Your role includes being part of the student welfare team and having a central function in both the promotion, prevention, and intervention work at the school. What you will do In this role, you are a key person in analyzing and developing the educational activities at Franserudsskolan. You collaborate closely with teaching staff, the principal, other professionals in the student welfare team, and guardians. The work includes structured, long-term work with routines, documentation, and follow-up at group and organizational levels. Assess students' needs and conduct educational evaluations Guidance and work together with teaching staff on pedagogical questions and inclusive approaches Propose, plan, and follow up on adjustments and special support Develop, clarify, and ensure routines for documentation in student welfare work Document, evaluate, and follow up on pedagogical interventions at individual and group levels Contribute special education perspective in the student welfare team and other forums at the school Who we think you are We are looking for someone who has a clear focus on student learning and is experienced in working systematically with pedagogical challenges. You enjoy combining hands-on student work with analysis, documentation, and long-term development of learning environments. You have a professional and factual demeanor while building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
