Special Education Teacher for Child and Youth Rehabilitation, Kalix Hospital

We at the Child and Youth Rehabilitation unit in Kalix are an established team with extensive expertise. About You We are looking for someone who is trained as a preschool teacher and/or special education teacher with good knowledge of Swedish. You have a B-level driver's license and good computer skills. It is advantageous if you have experience with skills training/IBT and positive behavior support, as well as experience with Cosmic, or knowledge of Finnish or minority languages. Previous work within rehabilitation, knowledge of NPF severe grades, and other disabilities are also advantageous for the position. We place great importance on personal qualities. As a person, you are stable and flexible. You understand how people learn differently and adapt your communication to the recipient. You value and see the benefit of collaboration with others. What You Will Do As a special education teacher with us, you work as an educational support provider, participate in assessments, and provide counseling and parental support to children aged 0-18 years and their families. The position includes regular participation in team conferences and network meetings to collaborate with other professionals and external actors. Travel within the service area will occur.
