Do you want to make a difference for children and young people aged 0-21 with disabilities? We are now looking for a dedicated special education teacher for Child and Youth Rehabilitation in Örebro. Job Responsibilities With us, you work closely with the child or young person's family in collaboration with staff from other activities and the geographic team for southern Örebro municipality. As a special education teacher, you are part of a multidisciplinary team where you work both independently and together with competent colleagues. You contribute specialized pedagogical expertise and provide advice that promotes the child's or young person's development. The work is varied and takes place both in the child's everyday environment, such as at home or in preschool/school, as well as at our clinics. Together with the team, you are also responsible for training aimed at children/young people, their families, and relatives. You are part of a professional group of approximately 10 special education teachers where you are expected to contribute to both your own and the group's professional development. Your own professional development is tailored to your needs. One of the positions may involve partial work within our rehabilitation activities. Therefore, knowledge and experience of working with children with acquired neurological injuries is advantageous. To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be able to plan and prioritize independently, with a holistic view of the activities, while having good collaboration skills. Qualifications Special Education Teaching program, 90 credits Good computer skills At least a category B driver's license as travel as part of work duties is included Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and collaboration skills. Meritorious: Experience working with children/young people with disabilities or neurological conditions Experience working with communication, time, and structure.
