Your own teaching takes place in Swedish, but between colleagues we speak English/Swedish. We are now seeking a qualified special education teacher for grades F-6 with Swedish teaching credentials. The position is a permanent, full-time employment with a start date in Fall 2026. A probationary period of 6 months applies. In the team, educators help each other with planning, teaching, and students' school days. Mentoring for a class may be part of the position. Focus on reading, writing, numeracy, and mathematics development. Who Are You? You have a Swedish teaching degree with special education competence and Swedish teaching credentials for grades F-6. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to incorporate curriculum goals into your work. You have clear leadership and stand firmly with your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and collaborative educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have direct and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You should be positive and cooperative and ready to join an international team. In your role, you teach in Swedish, but among colleagues we mainly speak English but also Swedish. This means you need to be fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.
