Special Education Teacher 60% at Lunds Fordonstekniska Gymnasium
Lunds Fordonstekniska Gymnasium is an independent upper secondary school located at Gastelyckan in Lund with approximately 70 students. Since 2003, we have been educating future automotive technicians through our Vehicle and Transport program in a safe and family-like environment with close relationships between students and staff.
For the school year 2026/2027, we are now seeking an engaged special education teacher at 60% with start in August/September or by agreement. This position is a fixed-term contract with a permanent appointment and a six-month probationary period.
As a special education teacher with us, you will work closely with students, teachers, and the student welfare team to create the best possible conditions for student development and learning. You will be an important part of the school's student welfare efforts and contribute specialized educational expertise in both preventive and intervention measures.
Your responsibilities will include:
teaching and support to teachers on pedagogical matters
mapping and follow-up of students' support needs
work with accommodations and specialized support
participation in the student welfare team's work
collaboration with guardians and external partners as needed
support to students both individually and in groups
We are looking for someone with a special education teacher degree and experience working at upper secondary schools. Experience from vocational programs at upper secondary schools is a merit.
As a person, you are engaged, solution-focused, and confident in your professional role. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and build strong relationships with both students and colleagues. You work in a structured manner and have a positive and inclusive approach.
