JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a special education teacher, you will be a natural part of the daily work in the school. You collaborate with teachers on accommodations and specialized support, contribute to assessments and analyses, and follow up on interventions at individual, group, and organizational levels. You are expected to be confident and skilled in conducting pedagogical evaluations, writing intervention plans, and submitting applications for extraordinary support. The role also includes planning and implementing targeted interventions with students, both individually and in groups, based on identified needs. An important part of the work is coaching and supporting colleagues in creating accessible learning environments where more students have the opportunity to succeed in their education. You are also an active part of the student welfare team, where your expertise becomes an important piece of the puzzle in the collective work for student development and well-being.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a special education teaching degree who values working together with others. You have a relational and solution-focused approach and feel confident in your profession. You have the ability to analyze and see connections between teaching, learning environment, and student needs, and you are happy to contribute both in day-to-day classroom work and in the school's longer-term development efforts.
