Special Education Teacher

The Role As a special education teacher, you work to promote, prevent, and address challenges to support children's development toward educational goals. You serve as qualified support to educators and management regarding learning environments, accommodations, and specialized support. Your work tasks include: Guiding and supporting educators in pedagogical work Conducting pedagogical assessments and analyses Contributing to the development of inclusive learning environments Participating in work with accommodations and specialized support Collaborating with guardians and other internal and external stakeholders Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in special education with a special education diploma. You have strong knowledge of governing documents and current research in the special education field. It is meriting if you have experience working in preschool as well as mentoring educators. You have good digital skills and express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish. The role requires dedication to creating favorable conditions for all children's development and learning. You need to be relationship-focused and able to build secure relationships with both children, colleagues, and guardians. You need to be organized and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, seeing opportunities in challenges and daring to think innovatively. The role also involves supporting and training educators in daily routines and pedagogical challenges. Valid driver's license (B category) and own car required.
