With us, you become part of an engaged, unpretentious, and driven team that supports each other in big and small ways. We share a passion for pedagogy and genuinely enjoy working together. Here you step into a warm culture where your voice counts and where we together celebrate our successes. As a special education teacher, you are an important part of student welfare and responsible for designing instruction so that it reaches students and helps them find their full potential. You mentor teachers and help our coaches structure studies for students. You also provide support in contact with guardians. You are a central part of working with students in need of extra adjustments and special support. This involves coordinating responsibility for an effective student welfare structure together with the rector. You are part of the school's pedagogical steering group together with management and lead teachers. In your daily work, you support students and student groups based on their needs, and you also act as a coaching resource to colleagues in special education matters and in teaching with methods, materials, and guidance. You conduct classroom visits, observe, and work closely with students. The role also involves responsibility for pedagogical assessments, documentation in journal systems, and follow-up. Together with other colleagues, you contribute to the school's goals and are engaged in the entire school's development. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a special education degree and teaching certification for upper secondary school. It is an advantage if you have documented experience working as a special education teacher and/or experience in mentoring pedagogical staff, as well as experience working in student welfare teams. You enjoy your work and are driven by seeing students reach their full potential. You have good organizational skills and an ability to build trust. Being a team player is important to you, and you have a creative way of solving challenges. We would also like to see that you share our passion for health and development. Terms of Employment This position is a permanent full-time employment. We apply a 6-month probationary period. The position starts as soon as possible according to agreement. How You Become Part of the Team We work efficiently and modernly. Instead of a cover letter, we begin with a number of selection questions and two work psychology tests that you receive immediately after submitting your CV. That gives us an objective picture of your potential and you quick feedback! Selection is ongoing and the position can be filled before the final application deadline, so don't wait with your application. Within upper secondary school, you must according to law (2000:873) present an extract from the criminal record register. The extract is obtained via http://www.polisen.se/ with digital BankID. If you don't have BankID, you can order the form to be sent to you – do this as soon as possible as manual processing of the form takes a long time. Questions?
