About the Workplace
We are now looking for a special education teacher who wants to develop and grow with us in the central child and student health services in Töreboda. We are currently building a new school, Kilängsskolan, and you will have the opportunity to be part of that process. With us, you will work in a small municipality that focuses on a 0–20-year perspective, working closely with other services such as social services and health care.
The position is currently based at Kilenskolan F-3 and Nyponet, which is a smaller adapted primary school associated with Kilensskolan where students study subject areas. With us, you will work with engaged colleagues, contribute to development within your profession, and have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge through continuous professional development.
Since you will be part of a team, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate and express yourself well in both speech and writing.
Job Responsibilities
As a special education teacher, you are part of the child and student health services and participate in the promoting and preventive work for children's development. The work is varied and involves many important contacts with both internal and external actors. As a special education teacher, you have overall responsibility for the special education work in the organization. You provide support and advice to school leadership and teachers in their work. You lead the work with pedagogical assessments and intervention programs in the work team. You are expected to collaborate with all staff at the schools, student health services, and other actors in order to jointly develop good learning environments.

Qualifications
You must be a qualified teacher with a special education diploma or a special education teacher diploma, or be in the process of obtaining a special education or special teacher diploma.
You feel confident in making your own decisions and standing by them, and you have no problem working independently. You are analytically minded and have good ability to prioritize and set boundaries within your area.
As a person, you are structured and responsible with confidence in your own abilities. You are responsive to other people's needs and have a positive view of people. Your work approach is systematic, development-oriented, and you have good ability to manage your work time.
The position is a vacation employment with the option of holiday work with flexible hours.
Töreboda Municipality offers monthly employees a wellness allowance of 1,250 kr per year. As an educator, you eat pedagogical lunch for 25 kr per meal.
As a special education teacher in the education sector, you can expect a salary between 42,000–48,000 kr depending on experience and qualifications; individual salary setting is applied.
