Korsängsskolan is a school with grades F-9 with just over 850 students. The school is located in central Enköping with a mixed catchment area, which includes parts of the town center and some rural areas. The school was inaugurated in 1948 and has been in operation since then; over the years it has undergone additions and renovations. We are now in an expansive and exciting phase as we have just gained access to new facilities adjacent to the current school. The school is popular with high demand, and most students spend all 10 years at Korsängsskolan.
All activities in the school are characterized by the principle that "We have an uncompromising focus on the student's best interests, which means one step at a time and always forward". We have a well-developed student health service with a school nurse, school counselor, and school psychologist.

DUTIES
As a special educator or special teacher, you have a central role in the school's student health team. You work both operationally close to the activities and strategically to develop student health processes, teaching quality, and the school's support measures. Since we are filling three positions, we are looking for one teacher specializing in mathematics and two teachers specializing in language, reading, and writing. One of the positions involves work with the intermediate grades and the other two with the primary grades.
The task involves supporting students' knowledge development and personal development as well as mentoring and guiding educators in work with accommodations, special support, and accessible learning environments. You work closely with school leadership, teachers, and other functions within student health, and contribute to a preventive and health-promoting approach.
The role also includes ensuring quality of documentation, pedagogical assessments, intervention plans, and follow-up of support measures. You are a reliable collaboration partner for school leadership and an important link between the student health team and the activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have teacher certification with a degree as a special educator or special teacher.
You take initiative, like to start activities, and achieve results.
You see the whole picture and take the larger perspective into account. You understand your role but consider the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and decisions.
You are relationship-building, outgoing, and socially active in your work. You establish contacts and maintain relationships.
You collaborate well with other people and relate to them in an attentive and flexible way. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts in a constructive manner.
