The Roma school area is centrally located on Gotland with convenient commuting distance to Visby and excellent bus connections. The school area encompasses Roma School, a grades F–9 school, as well as grades F–6 schools in Vänge, Kräklingbo, Dalhem, and Endre. Collaboration between the schools is a strength in our operations. Students from the area's grades F–6 schools are bused in varying amounts to Roma School for instruction in multiple subjects, which creates good continuity, a secure transition between grade levels, and opportunities for subject-based and collegial collaboration. Your responsibilities Special Education Teacher or Teacher with Special Education Expertise for a special instruction group – making a real difference in a smaller setting. We are now seeking a special education teacher for our special instruction group, where instruction takes place in small settings with a high degree of structure, safety, and relational teacher support. The assignment involves working with students who need extensive adaptations and individualized instruction. You will work closely with special educators, student support services, mentors, and guardians to create a calm and accessible learning environment with focus on knowledge development, motivation, and participation. Who are you? You have special education teacher training or possess a teaching degree with experience in special education, demonstrate stable leadership, and have strong commitment to students who need extra support to reach their potential. You work in a structured manner, are collaboration-oriented, and see possibilities even in challenging situations. We are seeking a confident and engaged special education teacher who wants to work in a special instruction group with students in significant need of support – in a smaller setting where relationships, structure, and clarity are crucial.
