We work purposefully to ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed in school. Now we are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable special education teacher who wants to be part of Frösåkersskolan. We want you to be qualified to teach mathematics and Swedish, but knowledge in science, social studies, and English is also desirable. You will be part of the student support team together with special educators, a counselor, special education teachers, a school nurse, and a principal. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a special education teacher you will: • Plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on students' individual needs. • Work closely with classroom teachers, special educators, the student support team, and guardians. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you if you: • Have a special education teacher degree or teacher certification with a focus on mathematics and language, reading, and writing development. • Have experience working with students in need of special support. • Are collaboration-oriented and want to contribute to school development. • Have knowledge of NPF (merit). Collaborating with colleagues to together create the best possible conditions for our students is one such skill. Building safe and trusting relationships is another—it is an asset for you in relation to your students as well as in relationships with colleagues and guardians.
