Position We are now seeking a special education teacher who wants to work with language, writing, and reading development at Stenbacka School, a grades 7-9 school, in Asarum. We welcome your application! Job Responsibilities Your task is to help create and develop a safe environment that attracts and challenges students' development, influence, and learning. As a special education teacher at Stenbacka School, you collaborate with teachers, special educators, and resource teachers to ensure all students have the opportunity to develop based on their individual circumstances. You do this by preparing, evaluating, and documenting activities, both individually and together with colleagues. Together with subject colleagues, you also work to support students' language development by encouraging and inspiring them to reach their goals. Requirements for the Position: Teacher certification Special education teacher qualification Strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious for the Position: Special education teacher qualification with a focus on language Experience working with students in grades 7-9 Experience teaching students at both group and individual levels Experience evaluating and analyzing interventions and results Experience assessing student needs Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
