The facilities and schoolyard are divided into grades F-3, 4-6, and 7-9, with each level having its own naturally defined area to promote play and activity. At the school, 130 competent staff members work together to strengthen students' academic achievement. This position is a substitute position. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will work at grades 7-9 focusing on Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. We expect you to bring a relational perspective with a strong focus on health-promoting and preventive work regarding student well-being. There is a major focus on supporting teachers in developing teaching that reaches all students in the class. You contribute to adapting instruction so that all students, regardless of background, have equal opportunities to develop according to curriculum guidelines. You monitor and document student learning, identify success factors, and drive development initiatives that strengthen instruction and student progress. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • are qualified to teach grades 7-9 in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language • have a special education teacher degree, but we also welcome you who are nearing the end of your special education teacher training • have previous work experience in the teaching profession • can express yourself well orally and in writing in Swedish, as language is our primary tool. We see it as an advantage if you have previous experience with language and knowledge development work. To succeed in the role of special education teacher with us, you are calm, stable, and composed in stressful situations. You are self-directed, take responsibility for your tasks, and find it easy to create structure in your planning and teaching. You must have good collaboration skills since you will work closely with both students and teachers at the school. This means you listen, communicate, and support our students and teachers in a constructive manner. It is further important that you are relationship-building and have good understanding of students' different conditions, and that you adapt how you convey messages. We ask that those who have teaching certification and a special education teacher degree attach these documents with your application. Employment Type: Permanent position. Duration: Indefinite, start date: 2026-08-10 or by agreement.
