Skogsängsskolan is a newly built K-6 school with excellent facilities and a fantastic schoolyard. We have grown in recent years and currently have approximately 460 students in a 3-stream organization. We work together with a focus on collegial learning. We work preventatively to create security and good conditions for students' learning in our multicultural school unit. We work with differentiated and language-developing methods for higher goal achievement. The school has a comprehensive student health team with a counselor, school nurse, social pedagogue, special education teacher, and special pedagogue; a school psychologist and school doctor are available from the central student health service. To create security and study peace, we place great emphasis on norms, values, and good relationships. An important part of this work is our organized and well-functioning recess activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a special education teacher, you have an important role in creating an inclusive learning environment where all students receive the support they need. You assess students' need for special support, plan and implement support measures together with teachers, and develop instruction based on students' needs. You provide support to students in various subjects, both in class, in groups, and individually, coach colleagues, and manage ongoing documentation in various student matters.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has a teacher's degree and teaching certification, as well as a completed or ongoing special education teacher certification. It is an advantage if you have the qualifications to teach in grades 1-6. If you have experience working as a special education teacher and have worked with Lgr22, that is also an advantage.
You have a solution-focused approach and good analytical skills. You build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You enjoy working both independently and with others and see collaboration as an important part of developing the operation and creating good conditions for students' learning.
