We are seeking a Special Education Teacher for Backa Friskola in Molkom. This is a project-based position to develop and run a specialized teaching group during the 2026/27 school year.
The position is 50-100% according to agreement.
About You
You are a certified special education teacher. Alternatively, you are studying to become a special education teacher. You have at least 5 years of experience working in schools.
You are responsible, solution-focused, and flexible. You should have an open mind and be interested in working together with your colleagues to develop and test new pedagogical methods.
You share the organization's vision, values, and goals.
Work experience is a requirement.
Computer literacy is a requirement.
Responsibilities
Provide support instruction one-on-one and in small groups.
Provide support in the classroom during regular instruction.
Support students during leisure time.
Holiday school and homework help.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and subject teachers.
Participate in staff meetings and individual education plan (IEP) meetings.
Document student development and learning.
Assist the special education coordinator with, among other things, assessing students' need for special support, and writing and evaluating support plans.
