JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to be part of developing instruction that makes a real difference? At Emåskolan (F6) and Sandsjöfors School (F3), we are seeking a special education teacher who wants to combine direct work with students with the development of instruction and learning environments. Here you will work at two smaller schools where relationships, collaboration, and closeness to students create good conditions to make an impact and make a difference. We are in an exciting development phase and collaborate with Linnaeus University to develop instruction so that more students succeed from the start. As a special education teacher, you will be an important part of that work. In this role, you will work with instruction and targeted support measures within language, reading, writing, and/or mathematics development. You will conduct pedagogical assessments, contribute to analysis and follow-up, and mentor colleagues in developing instruction. The work occurs in close collaboration with teachers, student health services, and guardians. With us, collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. Teachers actively seek support, ideas, and new perspectives, and together we test, analyze, and develop instruction. Parts of the special education work are organized in intensive development periods where you work focused for a limited time together with a class or student group to create sustainable changes that benefit both individuals and the group. You will also be an important part of our multidisciplinary student health team where we work on promotion, prevention, and intervention with the conviction that early measures and good learning environments give students the best conditions to succeed.
