We are growing in student numbers and the school will have approximately 315 students by the fall term of 2026 (ages 13 to 16 years) divided into 13 classes. At Bergskolan, we place the student and their knowledge development at the center, where accessibility is an important part. At Bergskolan, we work in a digital learning environment across all subjects as well as with books. We actively work to promote relationships and security to best equip our students for the future. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES You will work as a special education teacher with a focus on language, providing targeted support to students who need to develop their reading, writing, and language skills. Support is provided both individually and in small groups based on student needs. You will not work alone but will be part of a dynamic team in student support services together with a special education teacher and a special educator, as well as subject teams that meet regularly where collaboration and shared vision are guiding stars, and where we work closely with families for best results. Students are offered high-quality instruction from skilled teachers. At the school, we place instruction at the center and have great confidence that students have the ability to meet high standards. Our students should feel enthusiasm and joy in their learning and they should thrive and feel secure in their school environment in order to develop as much as possible based on their individual circumstances. QUALIFICATIONS You hold a teaching license with a special education teacher degree for teaching in grades 7-9. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has the ability to see all students and take their individual circumstances into account. You bring enthusiasm, energy, and passion to the work and engage both students and colleagues. You vary your instruction and you are driven by a desire to see possibilities and solutions. You show great commitment to students' learning and social development, your own learning/team learning, and in contact with guardians.
