Special Education Teacher at Adapted Upper Secondary School

Responsibilities We are seeking a teacher for the Adapted Upper Secondary School's Individual Program at Gymnasieskolan Vipan. We are looking for someone who wants to help create the future of Adapted Upper Secondary Education. In our pedagogical work, we base our approach on six subject areas and tailor these to each student's individual conditions and needs. Clarifying pedagogy, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), and low-affective approaches permeate our operations. Your responsibilities also include mentoring the facility's student assistants. In this position, you will be a mentor for a small group of students, primarily at an early cognitive level, and in collaboration with student assistants and other educators, you will help shape our activities. The school has approximately 1,300 students. Gymnasieskolan Vipan is located in the dynamic and beautiful Vipeholm area, where residential buildings and commercial quarters are currently being built. The school is in the midst of a major initiative and is constructing new buildings and renovating all properties in the Campus Vipan project. The Education Administration oversees upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, adult education, international primary school, and mother tongue activities and has approximately 1,200 employees.
