Leksands Municipality's school operations place great focus now and going forward on developing students' reading and writing skills, which is integrated with the current curriculum that you are well familiar with. You are responsible for the pedagogical content of instruction and work to promote student learning and development. You will work as a special education teacher at Tällbergs School. You will be part of the school's student support team together with the school counselor, school nurse, school psychologist, and principal. As a special education teacher in Leksands Municipality, you will also participate in a municipality-wide network for special education specialists and teachers. Your responsibilities include collaboration with colleagues and communication with students, guardians, and other authorities. Together with your colleagues, you will participate in projects aimed at developing instruction and increasing student achievement. Your profile We are looking for you who are a licensed special education teacher It is meritorious to have previous experience as a special education teacher in primary school grades F-6 or equivalent, experience with school development assignments, experience as a lead teacher As a person, you are flexible and accustomed to independently planning your work, you are solution-oriented, and have a good ability to see situations from a holistic perspective. You are also clear, confident, creative, and have the ability to inspire our students. You enjoy collaborating in a team and share your experiences for collegial learning that contributes to development at the individual, group, and organizational levels. About the workplace Tällbergs School is an F-6 school with an after-school program, beautifully located in Tällberg, approximately 1.5 miles outside central Leksand, with proximity to a rich natural and cultural life. The school has three work teams - grades F-3 and grades 4-6, plus After-school Program. Collaboration for pedagogical development is central, and the principal's area also includes Ullvi, Siljansnäs, and Gärde schools as collaboration partners to enable rich collegial learning. In addition, Leksands schools continuously collaborate on various targeted professional development initiatives.
