Ref: 20261869 Job Responsibilities Mellanheds School currently has two special education groups. As a special education teacher in the school's special education group for grades 3–6, you will work together with colleagues in the special education group for grades 3-6 to organize, plan, and deliver instruction in the group. You collaborate with student support services, colleagues, and school leadership, and work with other stakeholders and guardians. You plan, deliver, and evaluate instruction. In collaboration with a special education specialist, you ensure work with targeted support and additional accommodations. You document continuously according to applicable guidelines and, when needed, contribute to the special education specialist's assessments. Qualifications You are a certified elementary teacher with credentials to teach grades 4-6. It is beneficial if your credentials include mathematics and/or Swedish. You hold a special education teacher degree with a specialization that supports work in a special education group in elementary school, such as language-reading-writing, mathematics development, intellectual disability, or severe language disorder. Experience working as a special education teacher is considered a merit. You have the ability and experience to design accessible learning environments that remove barriers to learning for students with different functional variations. You have a structured and analytical approach from planning to evaluation. We look forward to your application! Mellanheds School operates in two buildings. Mellanheden 1 serves grades F-3, while Mellanheden 2 serves grades 4-9.
