Our student support team includes study and career guidance counselor, school nurse, school psychologist, school counselor, and special education counselor. Speech-language pathologist also has the opportunity to participate when needed. DUTIES We are looking for you, a special education teacher in Swedish, to join our teaching team. In your role as a teacher, you work to motivate and inspire your students toward development and learning, and you support them in their social and academic development. We have two special education teachers assigned to each grade level, one in mathematics and one in Swedish. You plan, implement, and follow up on instruction with a formative approach and adapt your planning based on students' needs, development, and results. Through clear and secure leadership, you create an accessible learning environment where students are included in both instruction and planning. We use Vklass as our digital learning platform for communication and documentation. Mentoring may be part of the position. Start as soon as possible. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you, a licensed special education teacher for grades 7-9 in Swedish with experience in instruction and assessment. You have strong digital competence and see digital tools as a natural part of both instruction and documentation. You communicate well in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are calm and stable and have the ability to create a safe and structured environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed. We also see that you are curious and want to develop in your work. You have the ability to create engagement in the classroom and can motivate students toward learning through your creative abilities. You enjoy contributing ideas and new ways of thinking to drive the organization forward.
