Together we can make a difference every day. About the Position As a special education teacher in mathematics with us, you will become a key person in our work with student support measures. You work closely with students and teachers to identify, prevent, and remove obstacles to all students' learning in mathematics, and to make support measures and adaptations concrete in the classroom. In this role, you will, among other things: - Plan, implement, and in consultation with a special education coordinator, follow up on special support in mathematics for students, both individually and in small groups. - Map students' mathematical abilities in a structured way, develop pedagogical adaptations, and contribute documentation for pedagogical assessments. - Guide and support teachers in their work to develop mathematics instruction. - Collaborate with other special education teachers, special education coordinators, and the school's student support staff. - Maintain dialogue with guardians to create a comprehensive view of the student's learning. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is confident in their role and enjoys working both independently and with others. We want you to have: - Special education teacher certification with a focus on mathematics development (required) - Documented knowledge and experience teaching mathematics to various grade levels in elementary school (required) - Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - Good familiarity with the school's governing documents and the ability to implement them in daily work - Good computer skills and experience with digital learning environments We Want You! You are engaged in your work with students and have the ability to listen, encourage, stimulate, and challenge them to develop further. You are flexible and can find new solutions in your work. You are self-driven and confident in your pedagogical leadership and have a strong ability to build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
