Job Responsibilities As a specialist teacher with a focus on mathematics, you will have an important and developmental role at our school. You will work both preventively and promotively, at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Together with the school's other specialist teachers and special education expertise, you work to remove barriers to learning and create good conditions for all students to succeed. Your main focus will be mathematics and mathematics development. The role includes: identifying students in need of support in mathematics and planning interventions based on their needs, conducting and following up on educational assessments and screenings, carrying out targeted special education interventions for students and student groups, supporting teachers in implementing accommodations and specialized support, contributing to the development of mathematics instruction, guiding and collaborating with teachers on mathematics didactics and accessible learning environments, contributing to analysis of student knowledge development and school results, actively participating in the school's systematic quality work, contributing special education expertise in the student support team. You will be part of an engaged specialist team that currently includes three specialist teachers, two focused on Swedish and one on mathematics.
