Short commute distance from Enköping and Västerås to the school. The workplace consists of approximately 30 employees. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a special education teacher in mathematics, you have a central role in both supporting individual students and contributing to the development of teaching overall. The assignment includes working closely with students in need of special support, through targeted interventions both in the classroom and, if needed, in smaller groups, as well as monitoring and analyzing their learning development. An important part of the work is the preventive and relational work in the classroom, where you work with teachers to create inclusive learning environments and adapt instruction so that more students can succeed within the framework of regular teaching. You function as a support in planning, implementation, and follow-up, and contribute with both special education perspective and subject didactic expertise. The assignment also involves being part of developing mathematics instruction at the school. You participate in collegial learning, drive questions about working methods and approaches, and contribute new perspectives that strengthen students' understanding and motivation. We would like you to be curious, take initiative, and want to explore new ways to develop instruction. The position is a 1-year temporary assignment with the possibility of extension or permanent employment. Interviews are held on a rolling basis. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a certified special education teacher for grades F-6 and who have extensive experience conducting special education work with students in those grades. You also have the competence for and experience in conducting educational assessments as well as knowledge of various screening methods. Furthermore, you have competence in systematic quality improvement and experience successfully implementing systematic quality improvement work in mathematics instruction. As a person, you are good at seeing the whole picture and considering the broader perspective. You understand your role while also having the entire organization's best interests in mind in your actions and decisions. You work well with other people and relate to others in a responsive and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. You also readily adopt and see possibilities in new ideas, methods, and ways of working. You drive and implement change where needed. Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
