About Us: Kardemumma Anpassad Grundskola is a small school with approximately 20 students and a high staff-to-student ratio. We strive to offer an inclusive, adapted, and stimulating learning environment where each student is given the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. To ensure high-quality instruction and individual development, we are now seeking a special education teacher with a strong passion for supporting students with intellectual disabilities. Nature of the Position: As a special education teacher with us, you will serve as a class teacher for one of our classes and collaborate closely with other staff members. You will be a key member of our school's teaching team and work closely with students who have diverse learning needs. Your role will involve planning and delivering adapted instruction, collaborating with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning. Your role will also include active participation in the Student Support Team to ensure that students receive the support and assistance they need for their development. Requirements and Qualifications: - Certification as a primary school teacher or preschool teacher. - Special education teacher credential with a focus on intellectual disabilities, or primary school teacher/preschool teacher certification with specialization in the same area. - Experience teaching all subjects and subject areas for grades 1-9. - Ability to serve as a class teacher with responsibility for a class. - Strong ability to collaborate with colleagues and be part of the Student Support Team. Employment Terms: The position is permanent on a full-time basis with the possibility of adjusting employment form and terms by agreement.
