At Lindeborgsskolan, we are now seeking an engaged and relationship-focused special education teacher who wants to become a key player in our upper secondary team. As a special education teacher, you are a central figure in our students' development and daily lives. Your role includes contributing to program and method development and providing support to management in working with students requiring special assistance. You will be responsible for one grade level in upper secondary school and will work closely with the team focused on special support and our students' development. You will also be responsible for documentation and assessments of these students. You will provide instruction within the framework of special support, participate in screening, be part of student health services, and be part of our special education team at the upper secondary level. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a special education teacher degree and a legitimate teaching certificate with eligibility to teach Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language in grades 7-9. Previous experience working as a special education teacher is a merit. You need to have good knowledge of school governance documents and the ability to apply them in your daily work. It is important that you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and knowledge of relevant digital tools. You have the ability to lead and organize work to create an effective learning environment throughout the day and can develop your work based on evidence-based research. About the Workplace Lindeborgsskolan is located on the outskirts of Malmö with proximity to green areas and Hyllie Station. We are a primary-to-secondary school (grades F-9) with two parallel classes at the primary and intermediate levels and five parallel classes at the upper secondary level.
