Together with our curious teachers, educators and colleagues, we at Innovitaskolan want to make a difference for our children and students. You will have a central role in the school's student welfare work. We have a well-functioning student welfare team with special teachers, special education teacher, school counselor, psychologist, social educator, principal and assistant principals. As a special teacher in Swedish and Swedish as a second language, you have a central role in supporting students' language, reading and writing development. The focus is on removing barriers to learning and creating conditions for all students to progress as far as possible in their knowledge development. Your areas of responsibility will include: Planning, implementing and following up teaching in Swedish and Swedish as a second language (SVA), both individually and in groups. Identifying students' need for special support in language, reading and writing development. Responsibility for and conducting pedagogical assessments and analyses as a basis for interventions. Establishing, following up and evaluating action plans together with responsible teachers and the student welfare team. Close cooperation with the school's special teachers F-3 and special education teacher to create a quality reading and writing plan and a thread throughout the entire school. Conducting pre-tests for referrals regarding language disorders. You have very strong special education expertise and the ability to conduct and analyze screenings, create structure and adapt working methods and teaching to promote student development and goal achievement. You have certification as a special teacher in reading and writing development, preferably with experience as a teacher in schools with Swedish as a second language. You communicate clearly and engagingly and guide both students and colleagues in a professional manner. You have a secure, relational and inclusive approach. You create trusting relationships and contribute to a calm and supportive learning environment, at individual, group and organizational levels. Creating good relationships with students and colleagues is something you see as a natural part of your daily work.
