Olovslundskolan is a grades F–6 school with approximately 620 students, located in western Jakobsberg. The school also has an adapted elementary school for students in grades 1–6. JOB DUTIES As a special educator at Olovslundskolan, you play an important role in the school's work toward increased goal achievement and an accessible learning environment for all students. You work closely with teachers, student services, and school leadership to early identify needs, analyze results, and plan interventions that make a difference for student learning. Your duties include, among other things: • Work with students in need of support. • Conduct pedagogical assessments and analyses. • Plan, implement, and follow up on special education interventions. • Guide and support teachers regarding accommodations and specialized support. • Participate in the school's student services work and contribute specialized pedagogical expertise. • Work with screenings, results tracking, and analysis of student learning development. • Contribute to the development of inclusive learning environments and accessible instruction. • Be an active part of the school's systematic quality work. We see the special educator as an important pedagogical leader who contributes to developing instruction and strengthening the school's ability to meet all students' needs. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications: • We are seeking someone who has a special educator degree and teaching certification. It is advantageous if you have: • Teaching certification focused on grades F–3 or grades 4–6 • Good knowledge of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF) • Experience developing accessible learning environments and working methods that strengthen students' ability to succeed in school • Experience with pedagogical assessments, evaluations, and analyses of students' needs for specialized support • Experience guiding pedagogical staff and leading processes, meetings, and coordinating interventions • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with external partners Personal Qualities We are seeking a confident and professional special educator with strong commitment to student learning and development.
