Our operations
Brunns School is an F-9 school with approximately 525 students. The school is located on Ingarö, a 30-minute bus ride from Slussen. The school works with digital tools and has very good digital infrastructure.
With respect – joy – participation, we work with our focus areas study culture, improving reading and writing skills and mathematics, as well as with AI and source criticism. You will get a fantastic job with freedom under responsibility, meetings with students, parents, and professional colleagues.
Your assignment
You will work with students individually, in groups, or in class together with various subject teachers. You will work in our regular classes and in our special instruction groups based on EHT's resource allocation. You will become an important member of the school's student health team.
Värmdö Municipality uses Vklass as a tool in planning and follow-up work, as well as in contact with guardians.
Your experience
We are looking for you who have teacher certification in Swedish for grades 6-9 and a special education teacher degree with a focus on language, writing, and reading development and preferably also education in mathematics. You have a great interest in teaching development and the ability to build varied and accessible instruction for all. You always keep students' development and learning in focus and you understand the importance of good relationships with all students.
You have experience leading and mentoring pedagogical staff, have good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish. You contribute to quality in assessments, intervention plans, and follow-ups, and work closely with class teachers, work teams, and the student health team.
Your personal qualities
As a person, you are attentive to students' needs, clear, respectful, and with great ability to collaborate with both our students and the school's adults. You are a driven and engaged teacher who enjoys challenging and being challenged and who has high expectations for your students.
You are skilled at structuring instruction at group and individual levels and you have good teamwork skills with both staff and students and guardians. You are flexible, efficient, and see possibilities when things are difficult. Furthermore, you have an easy time collaborating and contributing collegially with your knowledge and expertise.
